Now here’s little about us!
Amy is passionate about Pilates and the many benefits it has to offer. In 2002, after discovering Pilates and experiencing the benefits within her own body, Amy began working within a local Physiotherapy and Pilates Studio. She has spent much of her time specialising in Pilates-based rehabilitative exercise.
Amy has a strong love of learning and has completed full Pilates Mat and Studio Certification through Pilates International Training Centre (PITC), a Certificate IV in Pilates Instruction with PITC and Cert IV in Massage. She has also completed the Franklin Method teacher training and has studied Pilates for Children. Plus, she has completed the Booty Barre Training Course and is a qualified BLACKROLL Functional Fascia Trainer (we did say she loves to learn!!). She holds an Advanced Diploma of The Pilates Method and is a Member of Pilates Alliance Australasia (PAA).
Pam comes from a background in personal training and aqua instruction before moving into Pilates. Pam has qualifications in Mat and Studio instruction under third generation and well-known Alan Menezes, the founder of the Pilates Institute of Australia.
Pam began teaching Pilates on the south coast in 1999, and in 2001 she opened one of the first Pilates Alliance Australia certified studios on the south coast – which is now Body In Line. Pam has completed the world recognised Polestar Pilates training program, taking her to a Level 3 Instructor with the PAA and has a Diploma of Professional Pilates Practice.
Sonia commenced her Pilates training in 2000, completing the Polestar Pilates Studio Series. She moved to London in 2004 where she undertook further training with Body Control Pilates UK. She has been a guest speaker at international conferences, delivering workshops on Pre and Post Natal Pilates, as well as giving Advanced Mat work presentations.
Sonia is now PITC’s (Pilates International Training Centre) ‘Associate Director of Curriculum’, an integral role in the training and development of Pilates students in Australia. She holds a Bachelor of Dance, has completed her Pre/Post Natal Specialist Certification from The Center for Women’s Fitness (USA) and has an Advanced Diploma of The Pilates Method.
